Our Why
The Issue
Technology has changed our lives, for better and for worse. With the evolution of technology, methods of child sexual exploitation have also evolved. There is a new frontier of child sexual exploitation that is operated on the internet's ‘Dark Web’. It is estimated that four out of five visits to these hidden, encrypted websites are related to child sexual exploitation. The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reviews almost half a million images each week, over 25 million annually, with the majority of victims being girls and boys under 10 years of age.

What We Do
Foundation ACE aims to combat the online child sexual exploitation industry through a multifaceted approach of education and awareness, support for law enforcement, support for victims and advocacy. We work with policymakers to bring greater attention to the issue of child exploitation and to promote victim-reporting channels. We promote education about cyber-safety and the dangers of online sexual grooming and the Dark Web, and we raise funds to provide law enforcement agencies scholarships. These scholarships provide opportunities for the brightest minds to attend international conferences against online child exploitation, learning cutting-edge strategies and improving rates of perpetrator arrest and victim rescue.
